The Basics:
- This role is on the Center for Leadership, Advancement, Education & Development team
- You'll be reporting to Becky O'Meara
- The pay is expected to be $20
- The key function(s) of this role call for Research, Communications
- The anticipated time commitment is 20 hours per week
- The location of this role is remote or hybrid
- The work hours are: Mostly within 9-5 (EST)
- The end date is: 12/11/24
What You'll Achieve:
- Synthesizing information into high-level key take-aways
- Writing up city examples and success stories for posting
- Working with partner organizations on project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Engaging in outreach to cities and partners to create public-facing events
- Contributing to planning, content development, and execution for the overall grant initiative
Skills You'll Need to Bring:
- Long-form writing
- Qualitative research and surveying
Nice to Haves:
- Project NLC is looking for a graduate or experienced undergraduate fellow (contract position) to contribute to city engagement and collating best practices on the topic of housing quality and health in cities. Traits of a Successful Candidate
- Strong communications skills and experience managing multiple partnerships
- An organized self-starter who can work well with direction
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to interact effectively with city leaders, practitioners, and NLC staff members
