Intern CHEN MECH SABIC Petrochemicals (Montgomery AL) SP, SU, FA 2025
At SABIC, we provide exceptional opportunities for engineering students to spend a semester doing real engineering work. Whether it’s in Operations, EHS&S, or Reliability, SABIC offers an array of different opportunities to help students develop the skills needed for a career after graduation.
SABIC Early Identification Progam Members (EIDs) will work on meaningful projects that have real impact for the business under the guidance of some of our best engineers. They will receive on the job training, exposure to different parts of the business and mentoring from members of our leadership teams. In addition, they will build support networks with other EIDs and have the opportunity to be part of a pipeline into the SABIC Engineering Early Development Program (SEED) – a two year rotational program consisting of four, 6 month roles and two geographical locations.
During the program, EIDs will be assigned to experience the following types of assignments:
Chemical Operations;
Compounding;
Sourcing;
Materials;
Logistics;
Environmental, Health, and Safety.
Program placements will be based on technical development needs, availability of assignments and personal preference.
