Intellectual Disabilities Teacher

The School District of West Salem is right next door to La Crosse in the beautiful Coulee Region of Western Wisconsin. Our 3 buildings are within walking distance of each other on an approximate 100-acre campus on the edge of town. Students are issued MacBooks or iPads as part of its 1:1 digital learning environment. The ability to integrate technology in the development of daily lessons that engage students is desired. Having a passion for teaching and for providing an exciting, meaningful, and rewarding experience for students is a must!

The district is looking for an Intellectual Disabilities Teacher for our 5-8 middle school to "Serve with passion to ignite creativity, innovation, and excellence."

Applicants should be energetic, creative and innovative and willing to provide their students with a 21st Century experience in the classroom and beyond.

Applicants must be able to qualify for a Wisconsin DPI license to teach #1810 Cognitive Disabilities and/or #1801 Cross-Categorical for grades 9-12.
