This role is available as either an internship or volunteer opportunity, structured to offer 30 noncontiguous hours over 60 business days. This flexible schedule is designed to foster a productive learning environment and establish a strong foundation for a potential future full-time or part-time role upon your graduation.
Role Overview: Copywriting & Content Creation Intern/Volunteer
In this role, you will directly contribute to expanding our organization's impact and visibility through persuasive writing, strategic content creation, and targeted messaging. Your efforts in crafting compelling copy for various platforms will be pivotal in advancing our mission to educate and develop future societal leaders.
Detailed Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Copywriting: Develop and write engaging copy for a variety of mediums including websites, newsletters, social media, and promotional materials.
- Digital Content: Create high-quality digital content such as blog posts, email campaigns, and social media updates to drive engagement and awareness.
- Storytelling: Craft compelling stories that highlight the foundation’s initiatives, successes, and impact on the community.
Marketing and Public Relations:
- Campaign Development: Assist in the creation of marketing campaigns, including brainstorming ideas, writing copy, and planning content distribution.
- Brand Messaging: Ensure all content aligns with the foundation’s brand voice and messaging guidelines.
- Press Releases: Write and distribute press releases to promote key events and achievements, ensuring consistent messaging across all media outlets.
Community Engagement:
- Stakeholder Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key community stakeholders through engaging and informative content.
- Public Engagement: Participate in public engagements such as community meetings and educational panels to represent the foundation and its mission.
- Feedback Integration: Implement systems for collecting and analyzing feedback from community interactions to continually improve content strategies and align them more closely with community needs.
Performance Analysis:
- Data Analysis: Regularly use tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other data sources to monitor the effectiveness of content and marketing strategies, analyzing trends and making data-driven decisions.
- Impact Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on the outcomes of various content strategies and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
- Market Research: Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed of industry trends and adjust content strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
