Law Student Internship - Unpaid

Law Student Internship Opportunity – FALL 2024 Semester

Summary Position Description: The individual will provide administrative assistance to the Prosecutor and Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys in areas ranging from communications, constituent relations, and general office administration, while having the opportunity to learn and experience the prosecutorial process through daily office activities and attendance of court hearings. Each law student will be assigned to an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney to work one on one through the litigation process.

Minimum Qualifications Include: Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate legal academic program, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have an interest in learning about the inner workings of a Prosecutor’s office, and enjoy the idea of assisting others through public service.   

Status: This is an unpaid position.  Hours are negotiable and school credit can be arranged.  Resumes will be reviewed and evaluated before an invitation to intern is initiated. Spaces are limited.  The deadline to apply is JULY 19, 2024.
