Multicultural Services/Student Affairs - Collaborative Program and Community Development

The responsibilities of this specific graduate assistant are to develop and implement the Multicultural Center collaborative programming with university partners, student groups, and community organizations. Programs will focus on engagement and stewardship to the campus and external communities. Leads the Diversity Council leadership to set meeting schedules and agendas and facilitate the meetings and executive boards when needed. Encourage, promote, and facilitate the collaboration of programs and solutions to issues as needed; and encourage Multicultural Center-related organizations and their leadership to attend leadership development programs across campus or host periodic workshops in the Center. This GA will lead in the development, planning, and execution of the Indigenous/Native Showcase and Diversity Marketplace. Other duties assigned relating to MCC programming and events.

 

This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester.  Please contact Melinda Quinones for additional information if needed at quinones@kutztown.edu.
