Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) seeks talented individuals to join our lab analyst pipeline. Our labs collaborate with global corporations to ensure the safety and authenticity of products across industries, making your potential role impactful.
Qualified candidates in our pipeline will be considered for lab analyst positions across the United States, ensuring a fair recruitment process.
As a Lab Analyst, you will:
- Prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques following scientific and EPA methodology.
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in all areas of responsibility.
- Perform routine lab tasks, including sample preparation, chemical analysis, data calculation, and instrument maintenance.
- Record and report data, as well as any unusual test occurrences, to the supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with Eurofins' Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
- Ensure general housekeeping in your work area.
- Work under close supervision using routine and standard methods.
- Conduct all activities safely and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including becoming trained and competent in complex instrumentation such as gas chromatography, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument-specific data systems.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, or ability required.
Basic Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field is preferred; equivalent laboratory experience can be considered.
- Previous laboratory experience is beneficial.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a production-oriented environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
