Electrical Construction Engineer I

Summary

Primarily responsible for planning, designing, and executing electrical systems in construction projects and, managing the day-to-day electrical construction processes.

 

Minimum Qualifications

   •   Education – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related area.

   •   3 – 5 years experience on live construction site.

   •   Professional engineering (PE) licensure or working towards licensure is preferred.

   •   Experience in Electrical Engineering in construction industry preferred.

   •   Experience with Korean company/culture (preferred).

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Good understanding of electrical engineering principles and construction standards.
  • Knowledge of construction related documentation, submittals, drawings, reports, etc.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering and construction software applications.
  • Microsoft office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel).

 

Essential Functions

  • Involved in the planning, design, and execution of electrical systems in construction projects.
  • Develop and review electrical blueprints and plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Collaborate with construction teams and other engineers to integrate electrical systems efficiently.
  • Monitor and inspect the installation of electrical systems to ensure quality and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Review and maintain compliance with government regulations and ordinances.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Compensation

$70,000-85,000
