Spring 2025 Trade Services Intern
Conduct research for sales projects, marketing materials, regional benchmarking, and the website using relevant and credible data sources. Assist in grant writing, identifying relevant grant opportunities, and writing award applications. Participate in the Cost-of-Living Study and manage and/or update internal databases. Complete extensive research and unite reports on potential markets, market trends, and specific countries and produce a country profile. Create and/or update protocol sheets and assist with target country research. Assist with research for inbound delegations and outbound trade missions, international companies, regions, industry statistics, and companies exploring international markets. Attend WTCSav programs and events and assist as needed in all sectors of the organization.
Requirements: Applicant must have research experience, exceptional writing skills, show attention to detail, problem-solving skills, time management skills, a strong ability to focus and work independently, an interest in learning about international commerce, and a willingness to learn new computer and software skills. Familiarity with relevant databases, experience in excel, and excellent organization skills are preferred. Applicant must be fluent in English and interested in developing the business skills necessary to work in a professional environment.
