Project Assistant
Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience utilizing business systems, processes, and procedures. Experience leading requirements elicitation, documenting as-is processes and coordinating user testing.
Substitution: Seven years of specialized experience; associate’s degree and five years of experience.
J.D. or master’s degree may substitute for one year of specialized experience; Ph.D. may substitute for two years of specialized experience.

• Oversee and supervise project team(s) consisting of project analysts and testing support staff.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, testing staff, IT staff, and internal and external customers.
• Oversee the elicitation of business requirements and rules from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Assist with the creation, validation and maintenance of process documentation, business rules, and additional specifications including flow charts, process models and technical specifications.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of test plans. Evaluate test results for consistency with business and system requirements.
• Adhere to the time and attendance policies of the Department.
• Identify, document, evaluate and escalate issues and risks in a timely manner to management, including potential options for solution/resolution.
• Evaluate solution design and performance against business goals and objectives.
• Demonstrate strong, professional, respectful communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and provide appropriate, logical solutions.
• Monitor completeness, ensuring all issues are resolved in the appropriate time frame.
• Monitor and report project progress and status.
• Adhere to the time and attendance policies of the Department.
