We're looking for Recreational Dance Instructors who are passionate about nurturing young dancers in a supportive, creative, and technically sound environment.

Role Overview:

As a Recreational Dance Instructor, you'll be working with children aged 4-12 years old. Your role goes beyond dance instruction; it's about instilling creativity, technique, and an enduring love for dance. Reporting to the Director of Dance, you'll play a pivotal role in helping young dancers discover their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching Excellence: Instruct beginner to intermediate levels of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop, emphasizing creativity and age-appropriate technical development in line with KEC curriculum.
• Choreography: Create routines for in-house performances, showcasing your artistic flair.
• Performance Support: Collaborate with the Director and fellow instructors in organizing and supervising in-house performances held twice a year.
• Relationship Building: Develop and sustain positive relationships with dancers, their families, and all guests of Kid Explorer Club.
• Safety First: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all members, guests, and employees.

Qualifications:

• Teaching Experience: Have a minimum of one year of teaching experience, with a focus on 4-7-year-old children.
• Dance Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in beginner to intermediate levels of ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop.
• Choreography Skills: Experience in choreographing short pieces for children and arranging informal performances.
• Work Ethic: Exhibit a strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• Communication: Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
