What you will be doing as a Behavior Therapist:

  • Actively work with kids (18 months to school age) with autism in a center-based approach
  • Implement principles of ABA therapy to help children one-on-one, in a team setting, to reach their goals
  • Implement custom therapy programs to meet the unique treatment needs of each child
  • Provide early intervention therapy to help children develop mentally, physically, emotionally, and vocationally through the provision of appropriate individualized programming and education
  • Help children to progress in educational settings, social settings, and look to prepare children to eventually transition back to school
  • Collaborate with a team of like-minded individuals dedicated to every child’s success

 What you will bring:

Requirements:

  • Lifting/Carrying more than 50 lbs. Able to sustain impact to body (i.e., being hit, etc.) in any area. Running, crouching, squatting, and ability to kneel for sustained periods of time. Bending at the waist to touch knees and/or toes. Full range of motion of hands and arms. Sitting on floor and chair for long periods of time. Ability to move quickly from standing to seated, or kneeling position, without support.
  • Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License
  • Important Note: Safety is a priority at Lighthouse. You will undergo a background and drug test (including THC) at the time of hire

Who we are:

Lighthouse Autism Center provides year-round therapeutic intervention for children with autism based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Gregg and Sandy Maggioli are parents of a child with autism. Together they founded and opened Lighthouse Autism Center in 2012 to achieve their mission of ensuring each child reaches their full potential. We offer hope for every child, every family.
