Group Supervisor

What you’ll do: 

The Group Supervisor exercises considerable independent judgment and authority on a daily basis through direction and supervision of both students and staff in order to meet expectations of the services provided. The Group Supervisor exercises direct control and direction over subordinate staff including Coach Counselors and Night Coach Counselors, as assigned.  Additionally, the Group Supervisor is charged with the safety, care and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program. At the Mt. Evans Qualifying House, the Group Supervisor spends a great deal of time in the Idaho Springs community.  The Group Supervisor checks in on students who are actively working in the community and routinely participates in community service projects throughout Clear Creek County.  The Mt. Evans Qualifying House generally accepts older students (ages 16-21) and focuses on the development of independent living skills.  Not to mention spending time in the pristine mountains of the Arapahoe National Forest is not a bad place to report to work!  

  To be considered, you should: 

  1. Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
  2. Have a desire to work with troubled teens and at least 1 year of direct care experience with juveniles.
  3. Have experience in a supervisory role.
  4. Be at least 21 years of age.
  5. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
