Resource Room/Special Services Teacher – (10-month) for 2024-2025 School Year — Full-Time — Seeking to fill the position of Resource Room/Special Services Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The resource room teacher works in a separate, remedial classroom where students with educational disabilities, such as those with identified specific learning disabilities, are given direct, specialized instruction in Math and Language Arts. Teacher works in cooperation with the child’s specific learning plan and general education teacher to make academic remediation and assistance with homework, and related assignments as individuals and in groups for students in 1st-8th grade.  Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from an accredited post-secondary institution.  State or ACSI certification preferred.  ACS requires its employees to be Christians, living their lives as Christian role models.
