Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer

Job Summary:

CLC Engineering, LLC is an engineering firm, located Alexandria, LA, specializing in civil/structural engineering for high voltage structures in substations and switchyards. We are looking for a Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team!

May 2024 & December 2024 graduates are encouraged to apply!

Duties/Responsibilities:

·        Candidate must be capable of effective communication, working in a team-oriented manner with strong analytical and organizational skills

·        Communicate Effectively with co-workers, vendors, clients, etc.

·        The Graduate Civil Engineer will perform engineering and design duties for transmission line or substation design, foundation design, and civil grading of substation sites which require application of engineering principles

·        Learn and properly use the document management system

·        Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.

·        Knowledge of steel and concrete design

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be both creative and analytical, extremely detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Desire to gain knowledge and develop skills to improve your work performance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship
  • Must be willing to work in Alexandria, LA at our local office

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering required

·        Some civil engineering experience a plus but not specifically required.

SCHEDULE

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
  • Friday: 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M
