The ideal candidate will have experience in a pharmaceutical or industrial laboratory environment. You will have experience working in a cGMP and cGLP laboratory environment to include proper documentation techniques and procedures. Special consideration will be given to candidates that have experience in the fields of Dissolution Testing, Disintegration Testing, or any other aspects of Dissolution or Physical Testing of solid or semi-solid dosage forms.
Hands-on training for the entire suite of instruments that we manufacture, and service will be provided, as well as proper cGMP documentation techniques. Additionally, ongoing training is a major part of our employee improvement philosophy.
This position requires a fair amount of travel, some of which is overnight. Candidates MUST be able to travel to be considered for this role.

Field Service Technician for Erweka product lines
Responsibilities:
- Perform In-House and On-Site Repair, Maintenance, Calibration and Qualification Services on various types of laboratory instruments.
- Perform laboratory tasks following all cGMP / cGLP methods.
- Execute instrument Protocol Documents following all cGMP rules and processes.
- In-house troubleshooting and repair of instruments.
- Phone and email customer support.
- Complete & Submit Service Reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Accurately complete and submit expense reports and supporting documents in a timely manner while following all company policies.
- Store, maintain and use all tools, & support devices in a proficient, safe, and proper manner.
- Provide On-Site Training and Familiarization to customers & end users.
- Forward instrument and service sales leads to the Erweka Sales Team.
- Provide customer feedback on instruments and services.
- Identify recurring problems and bring them to the attention of management (shipping, engineering, service, production, etc.).
- Participate in projects and special assignments as they develop.
- Help maintainstrong relationships with key accountpersonnel and end users.
- Maintain a cleanand organized workspace and tool kit.
Job Requirements:
- An Associates Degree in a technical or science related field or a Completed Technical School Certificate preferred, alternatively, a minimum of 3 years’ work experience as a maintenance/service technician in a laboratory or factory setting will be accepted.
- Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be familiar with multi-meter, and use of basic hand tools.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings a plus.
- Knowledge of cGMP or cGLP practices and procedures is a big plus.
- Must have a basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools.
- Experience workingwith CRM and ERP systems a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeProducts (Outlook, Excel,Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attentionto detail.
- Strong communication skills, both writtenand verbal.
- Available to travel within the United States (Up to 50%).
- Must be a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
- Must be able to work well both individually and in a team environment.
- NOTE: Overnight travel to customer sites is a major part of this position’s responsibilities and duties. Candidates who are unable or unwilling to travel overnight as needed should not apply for this position. Travel modes will include travel by Air, Train, Bus and Car.
