Certified Athletic Trainer
GENERAL SUMMARY
Works under the supervision of the Lead Athletic Trainer and the Wellness Operations Manager. The Athletic Trainer Tech's primary job function is to provide assistance in assigned provider offices under the supervision of a physician or his/her designee. The Athletic Trainer Tech will work closely and coordinate with the assigned team.
QUALIFICATIONS
A.Education:
●High School Diploma/GED required
●Enrolled in athletic trainer program or successful completion of an approved four year NATA degree program in Athletic Training or equivalent field
B.Licensure:
●BLS within 60 days of hire required
●BMVL Required.
C.Experience:
●None
D.Interpersonal Skills:
●Ability to communicate clearly using both written and spoken methods and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers and others.
E.Essential Technical/Motor Skills:
●Ability to demonstrate and use medical equipment, fitness related equipment and athletic training equipment and supplies.
F.Essential Physical Requirements:
●Ability to use all exercise equipment in fitness area and lift 45 to 60 pounds occasionally.
G.Essential Mental Requirements:
●Analytical skills necessary for continuous public contact.
H.Essential Sensory Requirements:
●Ability to see, hear, and speak clearly is required.
I.Exposure to Hazards:
●Constant exposure to dust, odors, noise, and moving machinery.
