Business Development Specialist

USAN, Inc. is a leading technology solutions provider and an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner specializing in innovative cloud-based contact center solutions. We empower businesses to deliver exceptional customer experiences (CX) through our cutting-edge CCaaS offerings. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team.

The Business Development Specialist identifies new business opportunities, relationships, and clients for USAN. They collect and qualify data on sales processes, remain informed of industry trends, and build customer relationships. This position reports to the USAN Head of Alliance and Partnership, playing a pivotal role in managing our relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS) while driving business development initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying sales target lists, developing engagement plans for top-tier accounts, and qualifying opportunities to drive revenue growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual eager to accelerate complex sales cycles, blending partner management with sales business development in the dynamic field of cloud technology.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• AWS Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with AWS representatives, collaborating on joint initiatives and participating in partner events to drive mutual success.
• Sales Business Development: Identify target accounts and develop comprehensive engagement plans to foster relationships, uncover opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
• Partner Sales Enablement: Develop and execute sales enablement plans to empower partners with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to effectively sell our products or services in conjunction with AWS solutions.
• Account Mapping: Collaborate with internal teams and partners to identify and map target accounts, ensuring alignment of sales efforts and maximizing revenue potential.
• Opportunity Qualification: Evaluate and qualify sales opportunities generated through partner channels, leveraging an understanding of customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics, sales pipelines, and other relevant data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization of partner programs and initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment of partner activities with overall company goals and objectives.
 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong interest in cloud technology, particularly AWS services.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience in sales, business development, account management, or partner management is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
