Job Description: We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in managing our social media platforms, engaging with our audience, and creating captivating content to enhance our online presence. This is an excellent opportunity for a student seeking hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and scheduling posts across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Threads & more.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop engaging content ideas, including posts, stories, and reels.
  • Create visually appealing graphics and images using design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Research industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights to optimize content strategy.
  • Create content at WDID Brides events. 

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.
  • Understanding of audience building.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and tracking tools.
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Enthusiasm for weddings and bridal industry trends is a plus!
