Entry Level Upcoming Chemistry Graduates

MANAGER IS WILLING TO TRAIN _ ENTRY LEVEL GRADS

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)

Work with the Solan, Ohio EHS3 Health & Safety Team on the following programs:

SDS database support, Document management & maintenance
Contacting vendors and distributors for technical information
Work with various functions across site, such as maintenance, engineering, and operations, to obtain required information for EHS projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

Necessary:

Current in studies to obtain or currently possess a bachelors degree in sciences, occupational safety, engineering, or related STEM fields;
Currently studying or completed at least one (1) year of basic chemistry;
Interest in some aspect of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) field; and
Position shall be based at Solon Site (Solon, Ohio USA).
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

Knowledge & Skills:

Competent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good communication skills & able to technical writing
Comfortable working in an industrial or an office environment
Must be able to wear required PPE: Safety shoes, safety glasses, long sleeves, pants, & other protective gear as necessary (Tyvek suit, respirator, hard hat, etc)
