QC Technician
Work for a well-regarded biotechnology company in Rensselaer, NY as a QC Technician! This position is a one-year contract; with potential for extension or permanent hire. A great way to start your career!
What you need to know:
Starting Pay: $21 - $24/hour
Schedules Available: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm OR Sun-Wed 6am-4:30pm
100% Onsite role
What you need to apply:
- High School Diploma Required
- Associates or Bachelors Degrees preferred
- Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries preferred
- Internship experience considered!
- Lab or SOP Experience a plus!
A typical day as a QC Technician might include:
- Receiving samples and documents transactions thoroughly in Laboratory Information System (LIMS)
- Delivering samples to QC lab for testing as required
- Conducting temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring
- Performing/coordinating supplies, 5S organization, and maintenance
- Completing documentation and reviews logbook data
- Collaborating with other departments to receive/pull samples and other material
- Ensuring compliance with SOP's; reports any quality or other anomalies
- Maintaining laboratory purchased reagents, equipment, and supplies through ordering, logging, inventory and stocking
