Mechanical Engineering Summer Research Undergraduate Intern

Job Description and Requirements:

• Conduct independent research under the guidance of a faculty member and graduate students of the mechanical engineering department.
• Complete tasks that lead toward the successful conclusion of an independent research study including conducting literature reviews, researching appropriate methodologies, etc.
• Attend research group meetings and be prepared to present on status of research project.
• Attend summer research program professional development workshops and industry tours.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience conducting independent research under the guidance of a faculty member and graduate students of the mechanical engineering department.
• Experience completing tasks that lead toward the successful conclusion of an independent research study including conducting literature reviews, researching appropriate methodologies, etc.
• Experience working in a team
• Experience with presentations

Start Date: 5/10/2024                             

End Date: 9/17/2024

Hourly Pay Rate: $15-$25/hour
