Job Title: Marketing Intern

Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour

The Job:

As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, content creation, social media management, market research, and campaign analysis. You will work closely with our marketing team to support ongoing initiatives and assist in developing strategies to enhance our brand presence and reach our target audience.


What You Will Do:

  • Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, including social media, blog posts, email newsletters, and website updates.
  • Social Media Management: Help manage and maintain our social media profiles by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor strategies, and new opportunities for growth.
  • Events: BTU assistance – nametags, sending items to print, operational setup, etc., Podcast assistance – scheduling guests, setup, writing questions, transcribing, show notes, etc.
  • Campaign Support: Provide support in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including coordinating with vendors, tracking campaign performance, and reporting on results.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing marketing data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and design, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete various administrative tasks as needed, such as organizing files, updating spreadsheets, and scheduling meetings.


Who You Are and What You Need:

  • Bachelors in-progress degree in marketing related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and digital media.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous marketing experience or relevant coursework is a plus.
