Global D&I Project Specialist Intern

 

Job Summary:

As the Global D&I Project Specialist Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting the organization in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. You will collaborate with the D&I team to develop and implement programs and strategies that promote diversity and inclusion across all aspects of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Program Support:

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of D&I initiatives, events, and training programs.
  • Provide oversight on key program elements by tracking and follow-up with participants/vendors.
  • Assist in creating resources for employee education on D&I topics.
  • Leverage event management and project management skills to plan for and executive on several events.

Communication and Outreach:

  • Assist in drafting internal communications related to diversity and inclusion.
  • Support efforts to engage employees in D&I-related activities and initiatives.

Employee Resource Group (ERG) Engagement:

  • Collaborate with employee resource groups to provide support for their programs.
  • Assist in creating resources for employee education on D&I topics.

Research:

  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices related to diversity and inclusion.
  • Provide research support for D&I projects and proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program.
  • Strong interest in diversity and inclusion issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework or experience in diversity and inclusion, sociology, psychology, human resources, or related fields.
  • Previous involvement in D&I initiatives or student organizations.
  • Understanding of cultural competency and sensitivity.
