Kitchen Assistant - Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 - Work Study or Regular Pay

The UW-Whitewater Children's Center is located in the Roseman Building on the UWW campus. This is an Early Childhood setting serving infants and young children up to 6 years old.

The Children's Center is seeking an individual to assist with kitchen duties which include;

-Portion prepared meals (food is already fully cooked and delivered to the Center by Aladdin food service) according to the USDA CACFP Meal pattern guidelines (training is provided)

- Deliver meals to each classroom for breakfast, lunch, and snack daily

-Maintaining a clean & safe food handling environment

-Operate a dish sanitizer machine

WORK HOURS MONDAY -FRIDAY (TIMES BELOW)

Breakfast prep 8:00-9:00

Lunch and Snack prep 10:45-12:00

We are also looking for individuals who are interested in washing classroom dishes in the afternoons.

Dishes 12:45-2:00/3:00 - depending on how long it takes to run the dishes though the dish sanitizer.

No experience necessary - training and orientation will be provided.
