Procurement Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process of specific ingredients for the food, beverage, nutraceutical and sports nutrition industries while ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods from foreign and domestic suppliers.

Responsibilities:

- Negotiate and replenish products to ensure adequate supply

- Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service agreements

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements

- Coordinate with production planning to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies

- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular analysis to identify potential risks or opportunities

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement activities

Skills:

- Speak Mandarin or Chinese 

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Highly motivated self-starter

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
