About the role:

AvePoint is excited to provide the opportunity for a Graphic Design Intern to assist our creative team by playing a multifaceted role, leveraging their design skills, contributing to video production initiatives, and managing our digital assets. This internship will provide exposure to processes and procedures that are core experiences to being part of an in-house creative team within a software SaaS organization. You should apply for this role if you are college Junior or Senior looking to leveraging your design skills while contributing to video production initiatives..  

As a Graphic Design Intern on our Marketing Team, you will play a multifaceted role, leveraging your design skills while contributing to video production initiatives. Working closely with various departments in addition to the Marketing Team, you will contribute to the development of visually compelling content that resonates with our target audience and strengthens our brand presence. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Work alongside the US Design team to create eye-catching graphics, illustrations, and visual assets for use across various digital platforms, including social media, email campaigns, digital advertisements, printed collateral, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Assist in photo editing and manipulation to enhance visual appeal and maintain high-quality standards for all marketing assets.
  • Film, edit, and produce high-quality video content, including series, interviews, tutorials, and promotional videos, aligned with our marketing objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Maintain a structured system for organizing digital assets, including graphics, illustrations, photographs, videos, and other marketing collateral, to facilitate easy retrieval and utilization by the creative team and employees.

The ideal candidate should possess superior written and verbal communication skills, an affinity for design, be up-to-date on prevailing industry news, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.   

 Other qualities you will need to be a fit for this role include:  

  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques, with a portfolio to showcase these skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Video editing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with video production equipment and techniques, including camera operation, lighting, sound recording, and editing.
  • Familiar with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT).
  • Agile with an ability to work with designers of all levels across the globe.
  • Professional and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills.
