Lab Technician

RFI Ingredients is seeking an entry level Lab Technician for our Quality Control laboratory in Broomfield, CO. RFI Ingredients is an industry leading contract manufacturer of food and supplements. We are looking for an Lab Technician who has some familiarity with laboratory testing and who is able to manage a fairly high sample throughput while still efficiently manage sample intake daily. Good candidates will be organized and efficient and will have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications: Minimum of Associate Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Experience in a working lab with 0-2 experience in Chemistry and administration preferred.

Compensation: $45k-$50k/year, based on education, work experience, etc.

Schedule: Monday-Friday / 8:30pm-5pm

The primary responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to the following:

• Sample processing for the QC team
• Sample coordinating with production support/planning team
• General Lab Administration (filing, sample management, etc.)
• Maintain Gluten Allergen Program and other surveillance programs
• Physical Testing (Particle Size, Moisture content, Density, etc.)
• Sensory Testing (organoleptic- color, odor, taste)
• Wet Chemistry (i.e. Titrations)
• Laboratory Cleaning
