Medical Device Service & Support Technician

"610 Surgical, LLC" is a 5-year-old Nationwide Medical Device Sales & Service Company located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

We are actively searching for a BMET graduate or current BMET student who can service and support our Surgical Waste systems throughout the US. 

This position is part-time during the 60-90 day training/trial period, with the immediate opportunity to grow into full-time if/when the candidate shows product competency, overall initiative, and willingness and availability to travel upwards of 50%-70% of the time. 

Device-specific training is available on the job.

Paid airfare, hotel, ground transportation plus some allotted per diem when applicable. 

Hours worked at the home office in OKC are flexible, but some out-of-town service appointments require next-day or ASAP travel arrangements.

The candidate should possess the following skills and abilities:

• Be familiar with electrical and mechanical systems and theory. 
• Be able to safely handle surgical waste / biohazardous material, including wearing proper PPE and following sterile environment safety policies. This is not for the squeamish. 
• Be comfortable working in sterile environments at a wide array of hospitals and surgery centers, following the policies and procedures of each. 
• Be prompt and professional in communicating via phone, text & email with your managers, coworkers and clients.
• Be punctual and reliable. 
• Be prompt in completing Field Service Reports (we provide our own easy-to-use easy-to-follow mobile app for this. Our technicians love it!). 
• The candidate should possess a smartphone. 
• The candidate should possess or be able to acquire basic hand tools (loaner tools are available).
