Admissions & Recruitment Student Ambassador
Applicants must be current CSU Channel Islands Students.
Student Ambassadors will be responsible for the following:
- •Conduct large and individual university campus tours to prospective students, families, visiting schools, and guests virtually or in-person.
- •Disseminate CSU Channel Islands information to prospective students and families and community.
- •Provide customer service to various groups of people: students, staff, faculty, and the general public, in person, on the phone, via live chat, virtually, and electronically.
- •Assist in the recruitment of students including but not limited to the utilization of chat rooms, social media, phone campaigns, and presentations.
- •Perform general office duties including but not limited to answering phones, live chat, mailings, filing, general maintenance of recruitment presentation room, and reception area, tours, and phone campaigns.
- •Word processing, data entry (utilizing Microsoft Office, Excel), e-mailing, copying and filing, preparing forms, sorting, and preparing information for distribution.
- •Assist in organizing and staffing of special events, workshops, tours, virtual events, etc.
- •Create content for social media, email, web, and/or videos.
- •Collaborate with other student ambassadors on tasks and events.
- •Meet virtually (or in-person if permitted) weekly with supervisor and team for training, updates, and other duties assigned.
- •Perform other duties as assigned.
