Audio-Visual Production Specialist

In this Audio-Visual Production Specialist position, you will serve as a producer, director, script writer and production assistant in support of agency informational and message media production projects. You are responsible for oversight of the following program objectives:

• Serving as an authoritative technical advisor and resource to Audio Visual Production Specialists in medium sectors.
• Directing video productions in a large sector to include designing sets and lighting, conceiving visuals, selecting music and sound effects, selecting and directing cameras and movement during taping, editing video tapings, etc.
• Providing assistance in script preparation, creating electronic graphics to enhance presentation, edit videotapes for roll in and review, evaluate and edit finished programs.
• Creating and maintaining existing database of video imagery used for distribution as B-Roll to media outlets.
• Providing technical assistance and/or training to staff in a large sector in using the audio/visual equipment.
• Assisting in social media production related tasks and performing duties as assigned by supervisors.
