Student Paint Crew Member - Summer 2024 - Work Study or Regular Pay

Dates:  May 13-August 30th, 2024

Pay Rate:  $14.00 per hour.

Weekly Hours:  Up to 40 hour each week - 40 Guaranteed if desired.

Typical Shift:  7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Paint Crew Duties:

As a member of the student paint crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various painting projects across campus.  Your duties will include but are not limited to:  

Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling cracks, and washing as necessary.   Apply paint, stain, or varnish to surfaces using brushes, or rollers according to project applications.  Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment after use to ensure they are in good working condition for future projects.  Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storing paint supplies and materials.  Collaborate with other members of the paint crew and supervisor to complete projects efficiently and effectively.   Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor or project lead to support goals of the paint crew and Facilities department.
