POSITION: Assistant Principal
LOCATION: Lander Valley High School
SALARY: $74,725-$93,325, depending on experience and education; full benefits
CONTRACT: 210-day contract with personal and sick leave
START DATE: August 1, 2024

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement as a secondary principal. Other desired qualifications include: Experience as a secondary teacher and administrator; ability and desire to lead in a standards-based grading system; ability to lead and be part of a successful Professional Learning Community; ability to lead and implement RTI and PBIS concepts; ability to be able to work with all students, grade-levels 9-12 from diverse backgrounds; ability to manage all school behavioral issues; good communication skills; willingness to assist the school by serving on school and district committees; willingness to be a team player; and the desire to continue to grow professionally to better be able to lead our students, staff and community.
DESCRIPTION: This position serves as assistant principal of Lander Valley High School (575 students in grades 9-12). LVHS is recognized as a Model Professional Learning Community for its strong academic programs and success in meeting the needs of all learners. A comprehensive 3A school, LVHS also has a strong and proud activities program that provides co/extra-curricular opportunities which involves more than 90% of our students.
