Summer Internship in Biostatistics
The Biostatistics and Research Design Center at Boston Children’s Hospital has internship opportunities available for the summer of 2024. Eligible candidates are those pursuing a master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology or a closely related quantitative field. The Biostatistics and Research Design Center is part of the Institutional Centers for Clinical and Translational Research and is home to a group of more than 20 doctoral and master’s statisticians with extensive involvement and long experience in the hospital’s program of pediatric research. With direct oversight from a senior biostatistician, the Biostatistician intern will work on the statistical analysis and reporting of a research project. They will present their work at the end of the program to other Center members.

To qualify you must:

• Be currently enrolled in a master’s program at an accredited University.
• Have Experience with a statistical programming package such as SAS, R or Stata.
• Strong skills in data analysis and the effective presentation of results.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Open to those who reside in Massachusetts or who can travel (at their own expense). Preferred near the Boston area. 

Office Location: Boston Massachusetts

This is a paid summer internship on a hybrid model. 1 day/week in the office. 30hrs/week.
