Eight Eleven Group IT Internship
Summary:
In this internship role you will be part of a small team working on special assigned projects. You will also get exposure to providing technical support to our employees, contractors, and clients.
Individual tasks will vary, but may include:
- Assigned project work focusing on system improvement and enhancement
- Solving cases by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding users through corrective steps.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
- Communication with users or clients through multiple channels to help set up systems or resolve issues.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Act as a Point of Contact between Eight Eleven Group and Hardware/Software vendors.
- Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
- Documenting and refining procedures to help grow our knowledge base.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in IT Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Program
- Previous technical support experience is a plus.
- Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and excellent overall computer skills.
- Comfortable troubleshooting networks, hardware, and software.
- Customer service oriented and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
Technical Requirements:
- Experience with Windows 10 is a plus.
- Experience with Office 365 is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience with iOS and Android is a plus.
- Experience with Zendesk or similar case/ticketing system is a plus.
