Sustainability Analyst Intern

About Our Program:

The North American Peak Achievement Athletics Internship Program is designed to give undergraduate & graduate students an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, to learn more about the business and their field of studies to be able to excel in your careers! Interns will have optional 60 – minute lunch & learns to give exposure to business initiatives and departments as well as mentors to help guide you through.

Exeter, NH Program Timeline: Tuesday, June 4 – Friday, August 9 (10 weeks)

Want to join our team as a Sustainability Analyst Intern?

The Sustainability Analyst Intern will play a pivotal role in advancing the Company’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives within the organization.  Supporting the Company’s Sustainability Team, the role will help to develop and implement the Company’s sustainability strategy, roadmap and focus areas.

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Collaborate with partners across the organization to compile and analyze relevant data to identify trends and recommend solutions and areas of focus for the Company’s sustainability efforts, taking into account complexity and resource allocation.
  • Make recommendations relating to the Company’s sustainability roadmap, including short- and long-term goals.
  • Monitor sustainability regulations and best practices and recommend changes to the Company’s sustainability policies.
  • Research emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and technologies, assessing their potential impact on our business.
  • Engagement with internal stakeholders to track and report on sustainability initiatives and ensure reporting timelines and data integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting systems through optimizing data acquisition, modelling and analysis processes and tools.
  • Support the team on environmental initiatives as required.

 

What You Will Bring: 

  • BS or BA in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, or related field- or equivalent years of relevant and related experience. (Currently pursing Master's degree preferred).
  • 1+ years’ experience working with organizational sustainability or ESG initiatives/reporting.
  • A comprehensive understanding of ESG, environmental regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience leading projects and coordinating initiatives across multiple stakeholders through influence to achieve measurable results.
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to deliver on tactical initiatives.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office / G-Suite.
  • Proven research and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to simplify and adapt complex concepts to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders and audiences (e.g., leadership, technical, internal, external, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
