IT Services Help Desk Technician - Summer or Fall 2024 - Work Study or Regular Pay

IT Services is hiring for a Help Desk Technician Position

Job Description:

You will be the primary point of interaction between IT and campus. You are expected to handle all incoming contacts, discern whether they are requests or issues needing resolution, and properly create a ticket. If the contact results in an escalation ticket for an issue, the Phone Tech should perform initial and informative troubleshooting while following Knowledge Articles to gather the appropriate information needed for T2/T3 Queues. You will ensure all information from emails, phone calls, self-service tickets, and walk-ins are appropriately logged into a ticket by opening, updating, or closing the ticket with an informative solution. All walk-ins and phone calls should have tickets created.

  • Some computer knowledge

Opportunities to work up to 40 hours during the Summer Term and preferred 12-20 hours during the Fall/Spring Term. All Majors can apply! Opportunities for leadership & growth are available 

Help Desk Hours:

Fall/Spring: M-Th 8:00am-7:00pm
Fall/Spring: Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm
Summer/Winter: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
