Student Content Creator

Crimson Education, the leader in college admissions counseling, seeking an innovative Student Content Creator to join our growing social media team. In this role, you have an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in developing fun, engaging and informative content that empowers students on their college journey.

We are looking for: 

  • University students and content creators who live on, or close to, campus that are comfortable in front of a camera and with content creation on TikTok/Instagram.

Creatives to ideate, create, shoot, and edit 3-4 videos per month at minimum.

What you’ll be doing: 
 

Produce, shoot and edit creative short-form student/parent friendly video content for our TikTok, YouTube and Instagram accounts

Creating content such as: day in the life, asking university students on campus questions, sharing admissions tips/their life on campus.
 

Leverage your on-camera skills to create relevant, original, high-quality content (posts, videos, images) to engage our target audiences, build brand awareness, and gain followers.

Conceptualize, create, and help execute long-form video content for YouTube

Test various content creation formats from skits to greenscreen and dynamic editing

Stay on top of current trends in education news, college admissions, higher education, and social media engagement.

Identify emerging trends and topics and activate quickly to drive innovation

Sharing tips/tricks about college admissions and life on college campus

Your superpowers: 
 

Your engaging, magnetic TikTok/Instagram personality

Passion for higher education and a genuine desire to help students succeed

A strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and best practices

Experience in creating and shooting video content for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram for either a brand or your personal channel

Amazing storytelling and creative ideation skills

Comfort with on-camera work since you'll be a regular face and voice in our content

Strong writing and copywriting skills to craft compelling copy for video graphics, captions and ability to adapt to different audiences and platforms

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines

Video editing proficiency using Adobe, Final Cut, Capcut and other social-first editing tools

Staying up to date on the latest daily trends in higher ed/admissions and propose content concepts based on internet culture and what is trending

Self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to work independently

Balancing a strong creative point of view with a collaborative mentality

Pay ranges from 25-80 dollars per video, depending on the type of content.
