The Rockies Venture Club (RVC) accelerates economic development by educating and connecting investors, entrepreneurs, and corporate partners. RVC has approximately 200

investor members that actively invest and support startups here in Colorado.

Job Description

The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting an RVC Director in implementing RVC's overall communications with RVC investor and entrepreneur members. Focusing specifically on digital communications,  this role is designed to build awareness about RVC within the community, enroll new investors, and increase event attendance to RVC's 140+ annual events. 

Responsibilities

• Organize communication systems with RVC members.
• Notify members on upcoming events, workshops, and investment forums.
• Streamline communications with investor members on open investment opportunities.
• Manage www.rockiesventureclub.org using tools such as Webflow and Google Analytics.
• Manage the RVC Investor Portal for membership and event registration.
• Create visual marketing materials for RVC events for promotion using platforms such as Google My Business and LinkedIn Advertising.
• Attend RVC events to create content for social media channels.
• Build your network!

FAQ

Is this paid?

Not monetarily, but paid in experience, education, and potentially school credit depending on availability with your University and major. The time obligation will be approximately 15 hours/week.

Can I work remotely?

The position is hybrid. Most work can be completed remotely, however, you are more than welcome to work from our office. Also, you will be required to attend all assigned events in person.

How much previous experience do I need?

Previous experience is not necessary. An understanding of CRM’s, event software, basic website design, and email marketing systems are a plus. We'll judge the right fit based much more on enthusiasm about getting involved and a willingness to learn than anything else.
