Product Development Intern

Build knowledge and skills by creating product at a start-up while attending spearfishing tournaments and spend some time on the water with Aquatic Hunt this summer.

Looking for Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design majors (or similar) to bring 3 new products needing completion to life this summer. Help conceive improvements to 3 existing concepts with strong market potential. Improve on 3D CAD models. Prototype and test. Conduct testing to validate performance and claims. Work with suppliers to help ensure manufacturability.

Think it’s too much? Maybe but you’ll be working with a product developer with 25 years experience and hundreds of launched products. We’ll work through it together, it will be fun.

Flexible hours and flexible work location, we are a virtual office. We do have lab space to prototype, build and test.

Scuba, free divers or snorkelers preferred but not required.

Must be a strong problem solver.

Must have functional 3D CAD skills (any software is OK).

You will not be an employee. You will be paid as an independent contractor. $15/hr

Minimum of 20 hours per week but depending on what’s needed might be 40 hours for part of the summer.

Flexible on start and end dates based on your needs. Also flexible for your time off this summer.
