Job Overview: Vermont Weddings is currently seeking a passionate and creative Blog Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in blog or content writing, with a flair for crafting engaging, informative, and inspirational content. Writing about weddings is a bit different than writing about other topics, but it sure is fun- and we'll show you the ropes!

As a Blog Writer for Vermont Weddings, you will mainly be writing about real Vermont Weddings, and occasionally other topics such as: engagements, elopements or wedding planning tips and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create 3-5 original, high-quality blog posts per month, tailored to the Vermont Weddings audience.

- Research and develop content ideas that resonate with couples planning their wedding in Vermont.

- Write engaging, SEO-friendly content that highlights the unique charm of Vermont weddings.

- Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets the Vermont Weddings' style and quality standards.

- Assist in the development of content calendars and adhere to deadlines.

Requirements:

- Past  experience as a blog or content writer.

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Familiarity with Word, Google Docs, and basic SEO principles.

- Strong research skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
