Lab Tech Senior

This is Gayatri, Senior Recruiter at Experis IT Manpower Group. Our client, the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a lab tech senior . to join their team. As a Lab tech, you will be part of the Toxicology department supporting team.  An Ideal candidate Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests and makes qualitative analysis of materials, liquids, and gases. May also set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for the tests, research or process control.

  • Position: Lab Tech Sr.
    Location: Santa Rosa, CA
    Pay rate range: $20/hr. on W2. 
  • Shift : 4 PM–12.00 AM

Job Description
A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field is required. Previously, lab experience was preferred. What You'll Work On
• Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures
• Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch
• Process acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reports
• Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS analytical data by each assay SOP
• Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certification
• Maintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentation
• Communication with supervisors and prompt escalation of emerging challenges • Maintain and promote a safe, healthy environment for yourself and your co-workers.

Must possess diploma or degree at the Associate or Bachelor level and 1+ years' experience.
Job Details 

  • A bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field
  •  At least one year of experience working in an analytical lab.
  • The ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.
