Non-profit Organization Description

Since its founding in 1998, the International Sibling Society has been a global promoter of arts and culture through partnership coalitions in over 190 countries. Our mission is intertwined with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which address challenges such as poverty, hunger, health, education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, and more. Our podcast, Sustainable Development Goals Explained, highlights the universal call to action for ending poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring peace and prosperity for all.


 

Role Description

This is a full or part-time virtual role for a Professional Advisory Board member. As a member of the board, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and expertise in the areas of finance, analytics, research, fundraising, and marketing. You will collaborate with the team to support the organization's mission and help engage the SDGs dialogue. This role requires working closely with other team members and participating in board meetings and discussions.


 

Qualifications

  • Strong finance and analytical skills
  • Experience in research and fundraising
  • Knowledge of marketing principles
  • Ability to provide strategic guidance and expertise
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with the SDGs and their importance
  • Degree in finance, business, or related field
  • Experience in the arts and culture sector is a plus
