About the Position:

 

Under the general supervision of the Branch Chief, Talent Management, a Staff Services Manager I, the Career Counselor researches and monitors the existing Career Development and Upward Moblity programs and works collaboratively to develop strategies to improve the retention and professional development of the Caltrans Workforce. The incumbent will ensure all activities performed with regards to career development are in alignment with Caltrans' strategic goals and objectives. The Career Counselor is expected to display an empathetic, positive attitude and cultivate a team environment to help accomplish the Departments goals.
