Office of Admissions Student Employee
The Office of Admissions is currently seeking to hire current UA students to work in the office for the Summer of 2024 and beyond.
Admissions student employees assist the office in helping prospective students and their families feel welcome while visiting campus or contacting the Office of Admissions.
Possible responsibilities in this position include:
- conducting tours of campus (once trained)
- visiting the high school that you graduated from to share information on The University of Akron
- writing notes to prospective students to encourage them to apply/visit/enroll
- answering phone calls and greeting visitors in the office
- Data entry tasks
- Assembling materials for Admissions events
- Assisting at Admissions events with campus tours, greeting and direction giving
- Other duties as assigned
This on-campus job includes a variety of high level responsibilities including conducting tours of campus and talking with groups of students/families about The University of Akron. The pay rate is $11 an hour and the hours are flexible.
