Students Recover Intern

Students Recover is seeking interns for summer of 2024 & 24/25 academic year.                                                     (Please note that this is an unpaid internship)

 

 Students Recover is a new nonprofit organization that provides online recovery support to post-secondary students in/seeking recovery from substance use and other mental health issues. Our ideal intern is a person of the global majority, who has knowledge of mental health, substance use disorder and/or harm reduction strategies, is committed to supporting programs grounded in equity and justice, is self-reflective, creative, willing to try new things, and is kind and generous of spirit. 

 

Requires a minimum of 10-15 hours a week (including 3 hours of supervision), ability to work remotely, and work collaboratively with other interns and volunteers. Internship will include responsibilities such as cultivating marketing and outreach strategies, program development, co-hosting listening sessions, developing materials for publication, and assist with social media content and other technology. 

Open to students from any major but particularly interested in students with experience in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Marketing, Graphic Design & Health Promotion.

People with lived experience of substance use and other mental health issues encouraged to apply.
