Job Description:  

This Technician position will be conducting topographic, GPS, construction, and other survey work as part of a field crew. This position serves as a member of the Maine DOT Property Office based out of Region 3 in Wilton, Maine.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to;

• Maintenance and calibration of survey equipment and vehicles,
• Perform editing tasks associated with research and data entry in Realty Management System (RMS),
• Process survey data, and
• Act as the survey crew chief on an as-needed basis.

To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:

Five (5) years of experience in engineering –OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineering.

Applicants with prior survey experience will be given preference for this position.
