Job Title: Community Development & Marketing Intern

Department: Community Development/Marketing

Job Type: $8/hourly                                  
After 90 days, a $0.50 raise and Event work is $9/hour

Purpose: Sun King Brewing Co. is looking for a qualified individual to work closely with the community development and marketing department in promotional, event, and community support. A team member should be outgoing, responsible, possess superior communication skills, be detailed oriented, demonstrate a high level of integrity, and be extremely comfortable working with people in the community. Individuals should be energetic and excited to promote the Sun King brand. The work requires both someone who is able to work independently and with a team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·     Distribute and/or deliver event materials

·     Assist with event preparation, execution, management, and teardown

·     Document and analyze event (including cost tracking and ROI)

·     General date entry

·     Maintain event materials

·     Generate content for Community Partner blogs and newsletters

·     Work to maintain branding standards on multiple digital platforms and with partners

·     Create event recaps and document event feedback

·     Assist in developing marketing plans for Community Partner events

·     Work at least one tasting room shift per week (<4 hours)

·     Others duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements/Education:

·     Must be able to lift 10+ lbs

·     Must be able to work 15-20 hours a week

·     Undergraduate students majoring in Marketing, Event Management, Business or similar

·     Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·     PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills

·     Weekend work and commitment to certain events required

·     Must be 21 years of age or older

·     Must have a car in good working order

·     Must obtain a valid server permit (can be purchased on http://www.in.gov/atc/ website)

Reporting:

The Community Development and Marketing Intern reports to the Community Partner Logistics Coordinator and Community Development Coordinator
