About the Position:

Under the general direction of a Senior Engineering Geologist, incumbent assesses the impacts of transportation projects on biological and other resources and prepares permit applications for the State and Regional Water Quality Control Boards, USEPA, and local tribes as required. The incumbent also provides support to project delivery by participating in project delivery teams to ensure that the water quality and related permit requirements are incorporated into projects and the appropriate project documents. The incumbent coordinates 401 permits for all Caltrans projects received by the Regional Water Quality Control Boards. A California Driver's License is required.
