Elementary Positions

POSITION:     Elementary Positions (3) 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Valid New York State teaching certification in Elementary Education Gr 1-6 or B-6 
• Bilingual preferred

SKILLS: 

• Uses NYS standards as a foundation for setting clear learning goals and expectations for students, to support their academic progress.
• Fosters a positive and inclusive classroom environment that prioritizes the social and emotional well-being of students and nurtures a sense of belonging.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills with all constituents 
• Experience with and/or knowledge of: Fundations, Reader’s & Writer’s Workshop, iReady, Science 21

SALARY:        

• Salary will be determined in accordance with the 2022-2025 Washingtonville Teachers’ Contract 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:           

• Probationary appointment beginning on or about 9/3/2024

• Building Principal
